About Book 2: Conditionals

The conditional tense says that an action is dependent on something else. A "condition" must be met before something else can happen.

If I do X, Y will be the result (If + present simple + future)

If you buy that house, you will regret it.

The 1st  conditional is used for

  • general truths
  • suggestions
  • threats
  • warnings

 

The second and third conditional tenses are also given and followed by an exercise.
